This month I decided to hold a raffle of one of my study guides, The ASVAB Tutor’s Arithmetic Reasoning Study Guide. As an ASVAB tutor, I realize that Arithmetic Reasoning seems to be the most challenging subtest for many people. In my ASVAB prep course, I focus very heavily on math review to make sure I am able to help improve my students’ ASVAB math scores. My study guide covers 15 subtopics that can be found on the Arithmetic Reasoning subtest. The 15 subtopics include: basic operations, decimals, fractions, mixed numbers, percent, fraction, decimal conversions, proportions, ratios, percentages, tax, tip, commission overtime, distance and rate, interest rate, patterns and sequences, probability, distance and rate, miles per gallon, and measurement.
