What is courage?
Life is filled with many challenges that call us to have courage. Courage is not always about feeling brave and strong. It involves carrying on in spite of fear and adversity. As one who tutors for the ASVAB, I meet many students in my ASVAB prep course that show different forms of courage. In working to help people with their ASVAB math and vocabulary, I have the great benefit of seeing exemplary examples of courage. I have seen their courage in working to overcome the challenge the ASVAB has placed in their path. I have seen their courage in changing their exercise routines and eating habits to prepare for military life. I have seen their courage in rising to and overcoming the challenges of basic training and boot camp. Military life is made up of many challenges. Courage is a key ingredient in overcoming these challenges.
