Video on “inept”
Today I present the vocabulary video for the word “inept”. As an ASVAB tutor, I focus on boosting my students’ ASVAB vocabulary score. The Word Knowledge section of the test is the section that assesses the applicants’ knowledge of vocabulary.
I presented the question on the word “inept” yesterday. The word “inept” has the prefix “in”. The prefix “in” could have one of two meanings: not or in. In most cases, the prefix “in” means not. In the word “inept”, the prefix “in” means not.
Today I present a video to show the meaning of the word “inept” in the context of a sentence. The video shows my cat, Mr. Cuddles, wearing camouflage, acting like a drill sergeant or drill instructor. The sentence he says is, “When I train people, I don’t want anyone who’s inept. So, if you are unfit or you are unskilled, don’t waste my time.”
The question was:

- Competent
- Unskilled
- Confident
- Indifferent
