Word Knowledge Video
In teaching my ASVAB prep course, I include over 500 words in the class. I present the words in context in videos thanks to an app that allows my cat to talk. As an ASVAB tutor, I worked very hard to come up with a list of common ASVAB words to include in my course and my ASVAB book.
Yesterday I presented one of these ASVAB vocabulary words in a question.
The word is one of many words that can appear on the Word Knowledge section of the ASVAB.
The question is:
What does the word “vague” mean?
A. Unclear
B. Plague
C. Definite
D. Vary
I present the word “vague” in a video with my cat Mr. Cuddles®. In the video, he provides context clues to the meaning of the word. He says, “When I asked my friend if I should wear this outfit to the party, he said, ‘It depends.’ He gave me such a vague answer. I don’t like unclear answers like that.” From watching this video, it can be seen that the meaning of vague is unclear.
The correct answer is Choice A. unclear.
