Yesterday’s post presented a question asking what the word “unison” means. Unison has a Latin root word uni. Uni means one. Unison means all done at the same time. Did you know what “unison” means? As an ASVAB tutor, I knew how to provide ASVAB math help in the simplest way. Vocabulary instruction was not as easy to target so I decided I take an unorthodox approach to vocabulary instruction. I use my cat, Mr. Cuddles® to present the vocabulary in video form. Sometimes it pays off to think outside the box. I believe in making learning more memorable. A little humor goes a long way. A cooperative, once stray cat doesn’t hurt either.
