To figure out how much tip to leave, you need to change the percent to a decimal.
To change percent to decimal, move the decimal two places to the left.
15% becomes .15
To find 15% of $16.50, make sure to multiply 16.50 by .15
16.50 x .15 = $2.475 = $2.48
