Today I present the quote as a reminder that education has life changing potential. William Butler Yeats reminds us that education is not just the collection of knowledge. Instead, he lets us know it is the lighting of a fire. Lighting a fire kindles the passion for learning. As an ASVAB tutor, I see the importance of setting my students on fire for learning. When my students who once feared math tell me they are starting to love math, I feel a great sense of pride. An eagerness to learn goes a long way in preparing for the ASVAB and whatever challenges lie ahead in life.
