What does the word “savory” mean?

Today’s question is a vocabulary question that asks about the word “savory”.  The word “savory” is one of many words that could appear on the Word Knowledge section of the ASVAB.  Savory is a word that does not have a prefix, root word, or suffix. Savory is an adjective.  The verb form of the word is savor. It is the type of word that either you know it, or you do not.  There is no part of the word to analyze.  I wrote a book, The ASVAB Tutor’s Word Knowledge and Paragraph Comprehension Study Guide.  Savory is one of the over 500 words I presented in my book.  I present 2 sentences for each word that provide context clues to help the reader figure out the meaning of the words.  Do you know what savor means?  I will present the answer and explanation tomorrow.
