Inspirational Quote
Two things define you.
- Your patience when you have nothing.
- Your attitude when you have everything.
This is a powerful quote. When we have nothing, we need to be patient in waiting for the good things to come. We need to work hard and exhibit patience in achieving our goals. When we have everything, our attitude matters. We need to remain humble. Humility is the true test of a person’s character. When I tutor people for the ASVAB, I remind them to remain patient in their journey of preparing for enlistment. Too many people give up on themselves if they have not mastered the necessary skills in a few days or a few weeks. They need to be reminded that winners do not quit, and quitters do not win. I hope that when they achieve their goals, they remain humble for humility is a virtue.
