Inspirational Quote

It is never too late to be what you might have been. -George Eliot

George Eliot was an English novelist, poet, journalist, and translator who lived in the 19th century.  She was one of the top writers in the Victorian era.  Her real name was Mary Ann Evans. She chose to write under a male pen name.  She sought to overcome being a stereotypical female novelist.  Her quote reminds us that it is never too late to pursue our dreams.  She reminds us to never give up on what you might have been.  As an ASVAB tutor, I constantly remind my students to pursue their dreams.  Many of my students have become discouraged because they had a timeline they wished to achieve for their lives.  I remind them that it is not too late to achieve their goals.  Things happen for a reason, and in the end, we realize the reason for the timing of the events in our lives.
