In life, climbing to the top is not easy. There are many stumbling blocks on the path of achieving great things in life. Nothing worth having comes easily. Growth does not happen in comfort zones. It is in striving for our best that we encounter hurdles. The hurdles make us stronger. The setbacks we face make the view from the top that much more meaningful. As an ASVAB tutor, I meet many students who are struggling to achieve their goals. I remind them that hard work pays off. It might be difficult at the time to overcome the struggles they are facing in passing the ASVAB, but I remind them it will be worth it in the end. When we climb steep mountains in life, it makes us appreciate our successes that much more.
