As an ASVAB tutor, I encourage my students to read the books of inspirational military men and women. Jocko Willink is one of these inspirational military men. He is a retired United States Navy SEAL officer. He is co-author of #1 New York Times bestseller, Extreme Ownership: How U.S. Navy SEALs Lead and Win and The Dichotomy of Leadership. He is also the host of a top-rated podcast. He also provides leadership instruction and makes appearances as a motivational speaker. In today’s quote, he reminds us of the importance of staying humble. He warns everyone to stay humble or get humbled. Too often, people’s arrogance leads to their downfall. Stay humble.
