He also used dog teams in search and rescue missions in World War II, took part in the Olympics, and raced in the Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race. His life suits the quote of today. He was a man who dreamed big and dared to fail. As an ASVAB tutor, I am pleased to meet students who have decided to dream big and dare to fail. It is refreshing to meet young people with dreams so big that others call them crazy. I am so pleased to meet people with the self-will, determination, motivation, and discipline to make these dreams a reality.
