In working as an ASVAB tutor, I let my students know that the four main sections of the ASVAB are: Arithmetic Reasoning, Mathematics Knowledge, Word Knowledge, and Paragraph Comprehension. These four subtests are known as the AFQT which determine the ASVAB score. In order to improve your reading comprehension score, which is the score for Paragraph Comprehension, it is important to read more books and listen to audiobooks. There are several reading strategies to help improve your score on this subtest of the exam. Do you know some useful strategies for reading comprehension? Today’s question presents four answer choices. Three of them are useful strategies, and one is not. Which one is not a useful strategy? I will present the answer and explanation tomorrow.
