What percent of 80 is 60?
As an ASVAB tutor, I teach lessons on percentages. Reviewing percentages is very important in the goal of mastering the Arithmetic Reasoning section of the ASVAB. In my book entitled, The ASVAB Tutor’s Arithmetic Reasoning Study Guide, I cover 15 subtopics. One of those subtopics is percentages. Without knowing how to work with percentages, people are not fully prepared for the Arithmetic Reasoning section of the ASVAB. Today’s example can be solved as a proportion. Knowing how to set up and solve proportions is another very important skill for Arithmetic Reasoning. Do you know how to solve this problem? I will share the answer and explanation tomorrow.
