As an ASVAB tutor, patterns and sequences is one of the subtopics I review for the Arithmetic Reasoning section of the ASVAB. In my book entitled, The ASVAB Tutor’s Arithmetic Reasoning Study Guide, I review patterns and sequences. Many of the students in my ASVAB prep course do not like to work on patterns and sequences. However, after reviewing this skill with them, they realize that they are not too difficult. It is important to look at the pattern from one number to the next. Today’s example includes fractions. Patterns with fractions can overwhelm some people, but I remind them it is not too difficult. Do you know what comes next in the pattern? I will share the answer and explanation tomorrow.
