If a train travels at 70 mph and needs to travel 350 miles and leaves at 10AM, when will it reach the destination?
As an ASVAB tutor, one of the topics I teach is distance and rate. Distance and rate questions appear on the Arithmetic Reasoning section of the ASVAB. This is one of the 15 subtopics. I cover in my book, The ASVAB Tutor’s Arithmetic Reasoning Study Guide. I see that many of the students in my ASVAB prep course need to distance and rate questions. These problems have two steps.
