Listening to audiobooks can improve your reading comprehension skills.
In working as an ASVAB tutor, I make sure to tell my students that I am a big fan of audiobooks. I tell my students about a wonderful app called Libby. It is a free app that connects you with library books in audiobook form. You can borrow the books on your phone and return them with just a click. In order to borrow audiobooks on Libby, you need to have a library card. You also need to check with your library to make sure that they are affiliated with Libby. Our libraries are great resources. If you do not have a library card, make sure you sign up for one. The library offers many free programs. It provides access to books, audiobooks, online learning programs, in person events. The list goes on. Life is a journey in enriching ourselves. Take every opportunity you can to make yourself more knowledgeable. Do you think audiobooks can help reading comprehension skills?
