If a trapezoid has one base of 6 and one base of 8 and the height is 3, what is the area?
In working as an ASVAB tutor, I remind my students of the importance of knowing the formulas in geometry. Area, volume, and surface area are important formulas to know. I have included the necessary formulas in my book entitled in The ASVAB Tutor’s Mathematics Knowledge Study Guide. A trapezoid is a four-sided shape. It has one set of parallel sides. The other pair of sides are not parallel. Do you know the formula for the area of a trapezoid? I will share the answer and explanation tomorrow.
