Triangles
Yesterday I presented a question about triangles. The Mathematics Knowledge section of the ASVAB could include questions on triangles. Do you know the total degrees of the 3 angles of a triangle? A triangle has a total of 180 degrees in its 3 angles. This is true for all types of triangles. Triangles based on their angle measures including acute, right, and obtuse triangles have angles with a sum of 180 degrees. Triangles based on their side measures including equilateral, isosceles, and scalene triangles have angles with a sum of 180 degrees. As an ASVAB tutor, I remind my students of the importance of knowing about triangles for the Mathematics Knowledge section of the ASVAB.
