Knowing the names of all the shapes is something I remind my ASVAB students to learn for the ASVAB. Mathematics Knowledge is the section of the test that involves learning formulas for geometry. I remind my students of the importance of knowing how to find perimeter, circumference, area, surface area, and volume. Knowing the formulas makes a big difference in the score on the Mathematics Knowledge section of the test. In addition to knowing the formulas, I remind my students to know the names of all the shapes.
