Paragraph Comprehension
In my job as an ASVAB tutor, Paragraph Comprehension is one of the subjects I review. In reviewing Paragraph Comprehension, I discuss the different types of questions that can appear on the ASVAB. One type of question is a cause-and-effect question. Yesterday I presented a question on cause-and-effect words. Four choices were presented and one of them is not a cause-and-effect word. The four words are: because, since, later, and therefore. Which one is not a cause-and-effect word? The answer is “later”. Later is a sequence word not a cause-and-effect
