Arithmetic Reasoning Answer to Yesterday’s Question

Yesterday I presented a question on meters and kilometers.  As an ASVAB tutor, I place a strong emphasis on the topic of measurement in teaching my students about Arithmetic Reasoning.  Yesterday I presented a question on meters and kilometers.  The question asked how many meters are in 5.2 km.  In order to answer this question, it is necessary to know how many meters are in a kilometer.  There are 1000 meters in a kilometer.

To figure out how many meters are in 5.2 kilometers, you need to multiply 1000 by 5.2.

The answer is 5,200 meters.

Did you know the answer to yesterday’s question on meters and kilometers?
