When I read this testmonial, I am reminded of the person who wrote it.  She was an immigrant from the Ukraine.  English was her second language.  Her dream was to enter the United States Air Force.  When she came for tutoring, she told me that she had failed the exam.  She had been to other ASVAB tutors, and she was unable to achieve the score she had wanted.  She decided to sign up for my ASVAB prep course.  I focus on the 4 main subject areas with her: Arithmetic Reasoning, Mathematics Knowledge, Word Knowledge, and Paragraph Comprehension.  I knew that she needed help with ASVAB math and ASVAB vocabulary.  When she began tutoring sessions, she told me that this was the last time she planned to take the exam.  If she could not pass on her third attempt, she would not try again.  Her dream of enlisting would be over.  I felt the pressure to help her succeed.  Her motivation level was high which encouraged me.  She worked very hard and the day came where she took the ASVAB and reached her goal.  She joined the U.S. Air Force and was proud to do so.  Proud and thankful for the ASVAB tutoring she had received.
