This testimonial is from one of my students from my ASVAB prep course. She showed up needing to boost her math scores to be able to enlist in the United States Army. The classes provided the help she needed in ASVAB math. Topics including fractions, mixed numbers, proportions, and distance and rate problems were the ones she needed to improve. In tutoring her, I designed a specific list of skills she needed to focus on in order to improve her ASVAB score. After a few sessions, her score improved. She assured me that she was pleased to have met a person who tutors as I do. My goal is to break down the questions and present the explanation in a step by step format. I make sure my students are presented with the essential formulas and conversions to provide the necessary help for ASVAB math. I also present lists and definitions of the most common ASVAB vocabulary words. Another goal of mine is to find the shortcuts for all the math problems. The quickest, most efficient way to solve the problem is the route I choose to take.
