Stealthy vocabulary
As an ASVAB tutor, I saw the need to publish a study guide for Word Knowledge and Arithmetic Reasoning. I published my book on Amazon, and it is entitled, The ASVAB Tutor’s Word Knowledge and Paragraph Comprehension Study Guide. Yesterday I presented an ASVAB vocabulary word that could appear on the Word Knowledge section of the ASVAB. The word is stealthy. Do you know what stealthy means?
The question is:
What does stealthy mean?
- Sturdy
- Wealthy
- Moving quietly so not to be heard or seen
- Sloppy or untidy
To teach my students the meaning of the words, I present my cat in videos using an app that allows him to talk.
In today’s video, my cat Mr. Cuddles® is dressed as a ninja to explain the word “stealthy”.
“As an ninja, I am very stealthy. I need to be so I can sneak up on people and plan my attack.” The word “stealthy” means moving quietly so not to be heard or seen.
