Question on Author’s Tone
As an ASVAB tutor, I focus on the different types of questions that can appear on the Paragraph Comprehension section of the ASVAB. Some of the different types of questions include: main idea, detail, vocabulary, inference, cause and effect, author’s tone and author’s purpose.
Today I presented a question on author’s tone.
The author’s tone is the author’s attitude in a piece he or she has written.
An author writes a scientific piece about the life of a lion. What would the author’s tone most likely be?
