Word Knowledge
Yesterday I presented the question, “Do you know what the word “abscond” means? Abscond is a word that could appear on the ASVAB. I included the word “abscond” in my ASVAB study guide entitled, The ASVAB Tutor’s Word Knowledge and Paragraph Comprehension Study Guide. The word abscond means to leave hurriedly or secretly. In my ASVAB prep course, I use my cat, Mr. Cuddles® to present the ASVAB vocabulary words. Thanks to an app, I found a humorous, memorable way to teach ASVAB vocabulary. Mr. Cuddles® has not yet mastered providing ASVAB math help in my class, but you never know!
