In life, we all have different gifts. Many people do not recognize their true gifts in life. We were given gifts not to keep them to ourselves but to share them with others. In life, we need to find our way to make the world a better place. Even if we make one person’s life a little better then we found our purpose. In working as an ASVAB tutor, I meet many discouraged people. Failing the exam gives many people a sense of defeat. I remind them to not become disheartened. I let them know they just need to outsmart the test maker. Look for the trap answers, the ones that seem too good to be true. Most importantly do not pick those answers. The ASVAB is a test that leads people to the next step in their life. It is a test. What comes after the test is the plan for your life. Enlisting in the military is many people’s chance to find their gift in life through serving our nation.
