In life, we often find that the getting started is the toughest step in working toward our goals. There is a Chinese proverb that says, “A journey of a thousand miles begins with one step.” Set your goals and take the first step. If it is hard to know where to begin, write a plan. Start a checklist. As an ASVAB tutor, I meet many people who do not know where to begin in working toward improving their ASVAB score. I remind them to commit to improving their scores as their first step. As one of the next steps, I remind them to learn the necessary formulas and conversions for Arithmetic Reasoning and Mathematics Knowledge. Getting started is the secret to moving forward toward your goals in life.
