A dream without a plan remains a dream. Walt Disney reminds us of the importance of pursuing our dreams. Pursuing our dreams requires hard work, planning and enduring failures and setbacks. It means not giving up when times get tough. Too many people think a dream is something that will magically fall into place in your life. The bigger the dream is the more challenges come in achieving that dream. As an ASVAB tutor, I remind the students in my ASVAB prep course of the importance of their dreams. People come to me with a dream to serve in the United States military. For the people I meet, the math sections or the verbal sections of the exam are the obstacles they need to overcome. I remind them that anything worth having does not come easily. Their hard work will pay off. I encourage them to have the courage to pursue their dreams of serving, protecting, and defending our nation.
