Oprah Winfrey presented the above quote. In life, sometimes people are too hard on themselves. They become discouraged because they have not achieved all their goals by a set time. We need to remember to celebrate each and every one of our victories along the way. As an ASVAB tutor, I meet people of all ages who want to enlist in the United States military. Sometimes when I meet people who are older and closer to the upper limit of enlistment age, they can be hard on themselves for not enlisting sooner. I remind them that they still can achieve their goal and that they cannot look back. They can change the future by focusing on today. I remind them of the opportunities for greatness that still lie before them.
