Make today so awesome that yesterday gets jealous.
In life, we need to focus on today. We are only in competition with ourselves. We need to make sure that we are better than we were yesterday. Why not make yesterday a little jealous of what we achieved today. If you work with that mindset each and every day, you will strive higher each day. In working as an ASVAB tutor, I work to encourage the students in my ASVAB prep course. My goal is to help them see the best in themselves. Being a tutor goes so far beyond just providing help in areas of ASVAB math and verbal scores. I remind my students that the biggest improvement that is necessary is the improvement of your mindset to believe in yourself and to be better than you were yesterday.
