Motivational Monday
Life is like a camera. Focus on what’s important. Capture the good times.
And if things don’t work out, just take another shot. – Ziad K. Abdelnour
In life, we become distracted at times. Things do not always go as planned. We meet obstacles, hurdles, failures and setbacks. We cannot let these distractions hold us back. We need to be like a photographer that focuses on what is important. We need to zoom in on the positive parts of our lives. If we do not succeed in our first attempt at achieving our goals, we need to try again and again until we get it right.
As an ASVAB tutor, I meet many people who have the goal of enlisting in the military. By the time they have called me for help, they have met obstacles along the way. They have struggled with the ASVAB math sections or vocabulary or reading comprehension or needed help in all of the above. One thing they all have in common is the unwillingness to just give up when they fell short of their goals when it came to the ASVAB. In signing up for my ASVAB prep course, people have realized that even though things did not work out the first time they took the test or the practice exam, that they are unwilling to give up. They work to give it another shot, just like a photographer aiming for a better picture. Let me remind you not to give up. Try until you get it right. You will be proud you did.
