Motivational Monday
In working as an ASVAB tutor, I choose to present uplifting quotes from positive people. Today’s quote is from Les Brown. Leslie Calvin Brown was born February 17, 1945. He is an American politician and motivational speaker. He was a member of the Ohio House of Representatives from 1977 to 1981. He was born with his twin brother Wesley, in Liberty City, a low-income section of Miami, Florida. His life was filled with hardships. He was abandoned as a baby and then adopted. He was labeled as “educable mentally retarded” when he was in elementary school. This impacted his self-esteem. He experienced many challenges in his life. Failure did not stop him. He spent time in radio and television. He is now a world-famous motivational speaker.
