Inspirational Quote
As an ASVAB tutor, I see the value in posting motivational quotes. We all can use encouragement in life. Today I present an inspirational quote. In life, there are people that doubt us. This quote reminds us how to overcome the negative opinions of others.
“If people are doubting how far you can go, go so far that you can’t hear them anymore.” – Michele Ruiz
Many times, people who doubt us are envious. Many times, they know they are not capable of achieving what we set out to achieve. No matter what the reason is, their doubt should have no bearing on your achievement. Other people’s opinions do not count. It is your belief in yourself that counts. You are the one that needs to do the hard work to achieve your goals.
I always remember Winston Churchill’s quote,
“When you’re 20, you care what everyone thinks.
When you’re 40, you stop caring what everyone thinks.
When you’re 60, you realize no one was ever thinking about you in the first place.”
I found this quote to be so powerful. I hope that people can gain this wisdom at a younger age than 60 years old. When you finally realize that others’ opinions do not matter, you are liberated, and you can achieve what you set out to achieve without worrying about the naysayers. So, I remind you do not listen to those who doubt you. Move forward. Keep going. Go so far that you don’t even hear them anymore.
