Mathematics Knowledge Answer
The topic of triangles is one of the numerous topics that I review with my ASVAB students in my role as an ASVAB tutor. I review the different types of triangles based on their angles: scalene, right, and obtuse. I also review the different types of triangles based on their sides: equilateral, isosceles, and scalene triangles.
On 8/13, I presented a Mathematics Knowledge question.
The question is a geometry question. It is about triangles.
The questions is:
What triangle has all 3 sides and all 3 angles equal?
- Scalene
- Right
- Isosceles
- Equilateral
The triangle that has 3 equal sides and 3 equal angles is called an equilateral triangle.
The correct answer is D. Equilateral
The total number of angles in a triangle is 180 degrees.
Each angle in an equilateral triangle is 60 degrees since the 3 angles are equal.
