Mathematics Knowledge

Geometry is an important part of the Mathematics Knowledge section of the ASVAB.

In working as an ASVAB tutor, I remind my students of the importance of knowing the formulas for the geometry section of this exam.  Anyone preparing for the ASVAB needs to know formulas for the various shapes.  Knowing how to find perimeter, area, circumference, surface area and volume is essential in preparing for the Mathematics Knowledge section of the ASVAB.  I also remind my ASVAB students of the importance of knowing the names of all the different shapes. Today I present a Mathematics Knowledge question.

This is a geometry question on the topic of perimeter.

The question is:

What is the perimeter of a hendecagon with each side equal to 7?

  2. 70
  3. 77
  4. 84
