Mathematics Knowledge Answer
In teaching my ASVAB prep course, I decided to write books to accompany my online courses. To support my instruction of Mathematics Knoweldge, I wrote a book entitled, The ASVAB Tutor’s Mathematics Knowledge Study Guide. The majority of topics in Mathematics Knowledge are either algebra or geometry.
Yesterday I presented a Mathematics Knowledge question.
This question is a geometry question that is about a hexagon.
The question is:
What is the perimeter of a hexagon if the length of each side is 5?

- 35
- 40
Do you know how many sides a hexagon has? A hexagon has 6 sides.
If each side of a hexagon has a length of 5, and there are 6 sides, the perimeter is 6 x 5 = 30.
The perimeter is choice B. 30.
