What is the y-intercept of the line y = 2x + 4?
As an ASVAB tutor, I know the importance of reviewing lines and slope in geometry for the Mathematics Knowledge section of the ASVAB. One of the subtopics I teach in Mathematics Knowledge is the topic of angles and slope. I also included this topic in my book entitled, The ASVAB Tutor’s Mathematics Knowledge Study Guide. Today’s question asks about the y-intercept of a line. The y-intercept of a line is the point that a line crossed the y-axis. Do you know how to identify the y-intercept in the line y = 2x + 4?
