Mathematics Knowledge Question on Area of a Triangle
What is the area of a triangle with a base of 6 and a height of 8?
In my role as an ASVAB tutor, I remind my students of the importance of knowing the geometry formulas for the Mathematics Knowledge section of the ASVAB. I provide my students with formula sheets to review the area, circumference, volume, and surface area formulas. The shapes I remind them to review include circles, squares, rectangles, parallelograms, trapezoids, cubes, rectangular boxes, cylinders, and spheres.
