Latin Root Word “Mal”

As an ASVAB tutor, I remind my students of the importance of knowing Latin and Greek roots in order to boost their vocabulary score on the ASVAB.  In my ASVAB prep course, I present a number of Latin and Greek roots to help my students’ Word Knowledge score.  I wrote and published an ASVAB study guide entitled, The ASVAB Tutor’s Word Knowledge and Paragraph Comprehension Study Guide to boost students vocabulary and reading scores.  The book contains charts of prefixes, roots, and suffixes as well as 511 ASVAB vocabulary words.  It also contains reading comprehension passages with explanations.  Even though I focus very heavily on providing help in ASVAB math, I do provide help with ASVAB vocabulary.  In each of my 2 hour sessions, I present 20-30 vocabulary words.

Do you know what the Latin root “mal” means? The answer will be presented tomorrow.
