Today I posted an inspirational quote of unknown origin. The quote reads, “Push yourself because no one else is going to do it for you. There are many people who need to hear this message. In life, we are the ones who need to push ourselves. In working as an ASVAB tutor, who teaches an ASVAB prep course, I meet a number of students who need a push to succeed. Some lack self-motivation and discipline to achieve their goals. Whether they need help with ASVAB math, vocabulary or reading, the bottom line exists that they need to be self-driven to achieve their goals. Some people are highly motivated. Some are not as motivated. The quote regarding motivation I use to apply to these unmotivated students is, “You can take a horse to water, but you can’t make him drink.” As an ASVAB tutor, I can provide all the necessary study materials, but if they do not study them, the whole plan will not work out as they wanted. So I remind anyone who wants to join the military to prepare for the ASVAB and earn the the best score you can.
