Robin Sharma is a leadership expert who has sold over 15 million books. In today’s quote, he emphasizes the importance of doing instead of talking. Many people talk a good talk, but when it comes time to get the job done, they fall short. All the best intentions mean nothing without actions. As the old expression goes, “The road to hell is paved with good intentions.” This reminds us that it is not enough to mean to do well. We must take action and complete our goals. As an ASVAB tutor, I remind my students of the work they need to put into improving their ASVAB scores. Too many of my students say, “Oh yes I will do that. I did not get to it yet.” Many postpone their success by failing to seize the day and make the required effort. Don’t just talk the talk, make sure you walk the walk.
