Thomas Edison knew a great deal about never giving up. He worked at his creation of the light bulb and made over 1000 unsuccessful attempts before he was successful. In life, many of us give up before our success comes. Imagine if Thomas Edison had given up, we would all be sitting in the dark right now. As an ASVAB tutor, I remind my students of the power of persistence. I remind them to work hard, to keep trying, and to aim high in order to achieve their goals on enlisting in the U.S. military.
