In life, we need to be serious about achieving our goals. Reaching the goal we want involves persistence, never giving up until the goal is achieved. Once we achieve the goal, we need to be consistent to maintain the success we achieve. In working as an ASVAB tutor, I can attest to this statement being true. Many people talk a good talk but when it comes to walking the walk, they fall short. People tell me their dream of being in the military since they were children. They tell me how they want to follow in the footsteps of their military family. And so on. Great stories, but when it comes time to putting in the work to achieve these goals, many fall short. The ones who are persistent are the ones who achieve success. The ones who remain consistent maintain their success. So, I remind you stories and dreams are nice, but actions speak louder than words.
