Inspirational Quote
Today I present a quote from Michele Ruiz, entrepreneur, author, public speaker and former Los Angeles new anchor. Her quote is, “If people are doubting how far you can go, go so far that you can’t hear them anymore.”
In life, sometimes we listen to the wrong voices. We listen to the voices of what others think of us. We listen to what others think we can do. We need to listen to our own voices. We need to think of what we can do. We need to cast aside the need to impress others and focus solely on the need to impress ourselves.
When I work as an ASVAB tutor, I meet many students in my ASVAB prep course who have listened to the voices of others. Some have had teachers who told them they would never make it in life. Some have had friends who discouraged them from their dreams. Some have had family members who tried to steer them away from their dreams. It does not matter what others say. It matters what you believe. It matters what you can achieve. Cast aside the doubts of the naysayers. Believe in yourself. If you need help with ASVAB math, vocabulary or reading, I can help you with those goals. But you need to help yourself with ignoring those who are holding you back from the dreams you have for your life. Keep pushing forward and make yourself proud.
