In life, everyone meets failure somewhere along the way. Failure isn’t final unless you quit. Failure is part of the growth process in life. It shows that you are trying. When you quit, there is no room for growth. The attempt to change your situation is over. Winners never quit, and quitters never win. As an ASVAB tutor, I meet many students who have a history of failing the ASVAB. I am happy when I meet people who have a never give up attitude. Some are willing to give it all they have. Others say things like, “I will take it next month and if I fail, I will never try again.” Sometimes the latter are the ones who put the least amount of effort into the test. I remind my students to persist and to give it all they have. Anything worth having in life never comes easily.
