In life, we need to fix our eyes upon our goals. There are many distractions that come our way. Some distractions are what I call the time wasters in our lives. Social media, video games, television, texting, too much time spent on the phone, and so on. Some distractions are the discouragements we encounter in life. Failures, loss of friends, betrayals, and other setbacks. Some distractions are from our own lack of motivation in life. As an ASVAB tutor, I remind the students in my class of the importance of remaining focused on their goals. When I meet students who remain focused on their goal of enlisting in the U.S. military, I see their focus lead to their dreams becoming a reality. Keep your eyes fixed on the prize and prepare for the achievements to follow.
