As an ASVAB tutor, I have worked with countless military hopefuls. I have seen the power of the determination in people achieving their goals. On the other hand, I have seen people who did not believe in themselves and how it did impact their ability to proceed. In teaching my ASVAB prep course, even though my primary goal is to help improve my students’ ASVAB math, reading, and vocabulary scores, I make sure to mention the power of believing in yourself. If you believe in yourself, what others think of you will not slow you down in achieving your goal. Do not let doubt steal your dreams. Let your belief in yourself lead your onward to achieving your goals.
